Hey everyone,
I just recently updated my etsy shop with all my original paintings that are left to purchase from the show. Super easy and convenient, go to http://www.etsy.com/shop/RyanBear to find them. All the originals and prints are mixed together if your looking at them in the home page. To sift between prints and originals there's a shop sections portion on the middle left side of the site. Under it click either "June and Kai prints" or "June and Kai originals" depending on what your looking for. Thanks always for the support and be well.

Purchasing ART
Hey everyone,
Big thanks to everyone involved in helping me out with the art show last week. It went great, lots of support from the Patagonia community. So grateful people made there way up to Tucson. Big thanks to Erin for helping out with framing and coupons, caleb as well on coupons. Thanks to Alicai and Oso for helping to hang my art and make it look pretty. The biggest gratitude goes to Theresa for supporting be, the inspiration for the series, dealing with my craziness, critiques, setting up the etsy site, helping with my website, coordinating most things, letting me know all the little details I would never have thought of, being a boss cook, basically being my manager and the glue I needed to keep things together.
The show will be hung till the end of February at Cafe Passe, if you couldn't make it to the show I just recently updated my website http://ryanbear.net/ . Almost all of the originals are still for sale if your interested.
I also just recently created an etsy site for people to buy prints from. All paintings from the show are available in prints. You can access them through my website up the "etsy tab" or you can go directly to my etsy page at http://www.etsy.com/shop/RyanBear .
Enjoy.

Sneak Peak of Art Series
So the series revolves around a little girl named June and her bear
companion Kia. It portrays there adventures in nature with the spirits,
creatures and animals that reside there. Here's a few from the series in
there rough drawing form. Next is the inking and watercolor. I always
like seeing the process of artists so I'll post pictures next of the
different steps I took from beginning to completion. Lots of work ahead and only about a month left, hope you like the little preview.

REdirection of painting series
So as always and I'm sure like everyone's creative process, mine leads me through many different paths organically. I have a very big planning process in my art due to my animation background, which can be a hassle because I'll get stuck in the planning and take too long to get to the doing. After three or four fleshed out painting series I finally settled on one that I'm feeling confident and passionate about. Currently half way through the first painting. It started out as a focus on children in there reality of there "imagination". Then it somehow turned into a focus on nature, kids interacting with "nature spirits". It has continued this but the character, at least in this series is just two. A girl based off of my fiancee Theresa Karsner and her Bear companion. Traveling nature interacting with the spirits of the land and revealing its beauty. Pictures will be on the way to reveal at least one from the series before my show in January/ February. Cant wait for the world to see them. Be well everyone.

New Blog up and running
Hey everyone,
finally got a new blog going, doesn't look like much at the moment but its in the works to make it look nice. Also working on a etsy page and maybe a facebook page, lol well see how far I get. I've been too preoccupied with a painting I'm currently working on. Its a rendition of Leonardo Da Vinci's "The Last Supper" but, its with video game characters in a different settings. Its looking awesome, hoping to finish it soon. Also in the works is a series of artwork for Cafe Passe in Tucson, AZ. The series will be similar to my imagined self painting but a lot more expansive, multiple characters and all around more awesome. They will be shown from January to February, if your around take a look. That's all at the moment, be well friends.
